Alright, I thought that I would update this once more. A lot has happened throughout this week on Run Like The Wind. Activity seems to be picking up, which is awesome. Thank-you to all that are advertising to keep this site alive. Please be patient with all the staff members on here, because I know we are going to be making some changes with the lands soon. Uhm, I'm not sure what else to add here. Have a good day everyone.

Temperature;; Summer has finally hit the lands hard and fast. Mosquitoes and flies are the new enemies to most of the equines as they violently fight them every day. The temperatures still aren’t consistent varying from the seventies, eighties and nineties. Lush green vegetation is abundant while the spring rain showers have helped quite a bit although they are now being replaced with sadistic thunderstorms they shake the land. A warning to all equines – red skies at night, a sailors delight, red skies in the morn, sailors be warned.
As the name clearly states the rules can be found here. You must read them before doing anything else. Read ALL the rules because hidden somewhere in them is the password to the joining board. Follow the rules, they aren't hard to abide by.
Before you can even think of clicking on this board you MUST read the rules. Hidden in the rules is this board's password, which you must use to get access to it. Post you're character's stats here and then you can begin to rp.
Here you may make a thread and post all of your character stats, so you can have easier acces. Please only make one thread for all of your characters, and do not reply to another members. It is rude. Do not abuse this board it can and will be taken away!
This board is for anything that you want to post out of character. There are several sub-boards where you can post different things (i.e. ads, absenses, etc.). About once a month there will be active checks held on this board, please reply or else you will be deleted.
If you would like a picture made for your character or an avatar make a thread here. Be sure to include everything necessary and somebody will make you a pic. Anybody can make anybody a pic and you can request a certain person make the pic.
I've compiled several lists of words that you can look through to better your posts. If you have any words you wish to add to any of the lists feel free to post them. Remember you'll only get better if you practice and use more advanced wording, so be sure to check out all the lists.
This is where the best of RLTW are honoured by receiving awards. Categories will be decided and nominations will then be accepted. After the nominations have taken place the members of RLTW will get to vote for their favourite character/member.
Lonely? Feeling unwelcome? Come and ease those troubles when you separate yourself upon this road. The road is surrounded by trees, and then comes a forked pathway. To the left lies to Claiming Grounds, a large open field which the forest continues to surround; and to the right is the Foaling Field. There is a place to meet your true love and the perfect place to show your care for them – so enjoy the journey.
As you tread along the path of Interaction, you will notice nothing mundane along the way. For the lands ahead inherit a beach and a meadow. The path is both sandy and full of emerald blades which many stop to feast upon. Orphan’s Ocean and The Watering Hole is what you seek treading upon this lane.
Darkness looms over the beaten lane in which it leads to; hence its name. Broken twigs and small spots of crimson lie in the dirt. The three lands here are known for troubles. One land, the Forsaken Mountains, is known for being the place in which a spar is started. The Forbidden Forest is where many, of all alignments, go out of sheer curiosity, yet some never come back. And the third land is Daventurn Lake; a place that come with great reward if you don’t die first. Dare you enter? Keep walking.
If you walk the way to this land, I am sure there is no turning back. The indentions marked on the earth are enough to tell you that here fights are irrupted. The Tiff Cliffs are not that far off - as you near, if you squint your eyes you can see them... You can still hear the battle cries and the screams of pain. A few crushed bones lay strewn about the path and some marks of crimson as well... Dare you enter? Or do you even have a choice?
This land is a large open field, only divided into three sections. If one stands in the center though, you can see all three of the lands with ease. It is located just north of the Dark and Light Kingdom. What the purpose? It’s to allow the Kings and Queens to meet and discuss conflicts when needed.
If you are feeling witty with words and cunning in brains, follow this way... The Stealing lands are within the grasp of The Graveyard. To the right you shall go to put your riddle to the test and to the left you’ll let the mournful go. It is best to be on guard either way.

The word 'orchard' gives a false impression of this place. Although there are trees laden with fruit and for shelter, and lush grass for food, it is far from the innocent little clearing that the name makes you think it is. Darkness roams this place like a scavenging stray, covering everything in its path. For a few hours of the day, the sun pierces the canopy and lights up the forest floor, as the flowers reach up to this sudden warmth and light, and savour it. However, when the sun sinks too low to be effective, the true nature of the lands and their inhabitants come out. The land becomes heavy with shadows, eerie noises are heard echoing through the birch trees, icy wind creating hair-prickling thuds as apples are torn from their branches. This is the land of the darkened heartbeats. Welcome to the one and only, hell. RIP to Premonition and Aria, Pavarotti and Hollister; Let the next generation rule.
The King of Darks: Dizavi The Queen of Darks: None The Heir of Darks: None
It is as if these lands are paradise. A jungle surrounds the whole border of the lands, the trees within are lush and ever growing, even in the winter. Two streams wind through the land, one from the north and one from the south and then they meet right in the middle in a large lake where koi fish call home. The center of the land is a flat grassy clearing, a few large rocks are potruding from the earth's surface. There are hills on the east side of the harem, covered in wild flowers, an ideal place for those young one of Pathecol. And to the west are ruins from an ancient temple, where the Neutral King resides, alone. Forever alone. There are also caves surrounding the ruins, for those whom inhabit Pathecol. To live here, is to live in peace and serenity. No dangers lurk in this land, here you are safe no matter at what risk. Darks do not wander here even though the location is right between the Royal Light lands and the Royal Dark lands. Be not afraid, Helios welcomes you.
The oldest and purest of the light lands, Oozora is perfect fit for its name, which is Japanese for Heaven. A beautiful and tranquil area of land nestled in between mountains. There are very large bonsai trees here and there, and cherry blossom trees are everywhere. The grass is lush and green, and flowers are spotted here and there. A stream runs through the land, from a waterfall at the far side, crystal clear and calm. A perfect place for swimming. A pool of water lies at the foot of the waterfall, where koi swim in peace. The King of the lands, Dilios, tends to be found atop the waterfall's cliff, looking down on the lands to make sure all is well and safe. Beware, he will show no mercy to any dark that dares to soil the purest lands of the Light Kingdom.

Hell's Domain is a scary and desolate place far off from the rest of the lands. The herd leader is the only one who can step foot upon the lands beside the mares and their offspring. The leader of this herd believes that all of the Dark Arts must be smart and cunning and fight often. Hills make most of the place and forest covers everything besides the one mountain in the middle of the lands. On the mountain is a small cavern with a ledge in which the lead rests and watches the harem with his queen.
Tread very carefully here, for not only are these lands as dark as the lord's heart whom roams here but something deep inside hungers for your blood; the land. It is rumored that those whom died in battle roam this harem, blood thirsty and full of hatred. Everything is covered in dust, the greek ruins have been left there to be forgotten. The pale grey hued stone beneath your feet is covered in crimson and littered with bones. The vast region is hidden within mountains, only very few may survive here with such scarceness of foliage. Trees are uprooted and strayed all over. There are no leaves upon the ones still in the ground, they are bare just like the soul of the one who rules here. Enter at your own risk.
RLTW has a certain drop off called The Pit. It descends almost as far down as the pits of hell themselves. Created by a huge comet that crashed in previous years, it's perfectly sculpted into the ideal devil's labyrinth. Built by the devil himself and powered by the dead. The one who rules below gave this turf to one stag, and one only. Devil's Assassin, his killing machine made real with blood and flesh. Devil's Assassin stands from the cliffs, watching as new prey intrudes among his herd. They won't know till death is upon them that he lingers near. He see's all from where he stands. Beside blood,the land is darted with caverns that lead farther into the earth, mazes of the forest and weeds. Get captured in this puzzle and only the king and his harem will be able to get you out. The question is...Will they want to?...

Welcome, to either your greaterst dream, or worst nightmare. The land is bold and lush, but dark and uninviting. Surrounded by the rocks, the ocean created by errosion, the land rarely gets any sun. But the stars at night are too perfect for words. As you enter the land, there is a large arched rock, with a path as to where you could see where all other have been, lazy willows, maple and oak trees over populate this part of the lands. Towards the south of the land is Jemeatine ocean, The sands of the beach are so soft and inviting, but beware of the crashing waves. There are many cliffs and caves, the caves provide shelter and privacy, while the cliffs offer adventure and danger. If you are lucky, maybe you can see the golden prince bow to the moon.

High in the frozen mountains of the north, there are sharp, stragly mountains that rise above RLTW, their ominous black shapes cast shadows over the land. One must travel for many days to get to the real place they are seeking. Small tunnels in the rock provide shortcuts for the lead of this place, for he is always one step ahead of you. Watch your step, as many traps have been set here, but none come back to tell the story. In the winter the frozen paths become impossible to cross without slipping to your painful death. Don't even bother. On the rare occasion, if you actually make it alive, you are greeted by a wide plateu that looks like somethnig from millions of years ago. Secluded on its own, evolution has worked and morphed the creatures who live here into killing machines. Most of them stay away, but aome are not to be trusted. When night falls over the dark lands, everything awakens from its dormant sleep. The lead has massacred the ones that cause the most trouble, but any equine left out in the night and not in the caves is gone for. The entrance is sealed with stone, and safety is stong. There are hot springs on the west side and swamps in the south. You will fit in nicely if you ae already insane. Welcome to .X.THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS.X.
Your flints hit the solid ground as you enter The Senate, a large building situated upon a large hill. The sounds of your movements echo throughout the ruins as you take each step. Sunlight beams through the partly fallen roof onto the crumbling mosaics beneath you, once a grand building, The Senate is now dying with age. If you exit towards the back you step onto lush grass, which carries on back down the other side of the hill. Trees give shade and shelter, and there is an unspoiled view of the rest of the lands. Just remember one thing. Caesar is boss.
Here stands, or rather crumbles, the great land of Decimation. Falling to pieces before the very daggers of the darkest of hearts. How old are the tombs and headstones? No one knows, no one cares. The gnarled trees and decay bodies under the ground are enough to send a chill into the heart of any equine. During the day it seems like a once burned through forest for the black and dying trees could be called 'charred' but they are not, just poisoned from the death shrouding the lands. And the scattered and uneasy headstones are not to be mistaken for oddly shaped rocks for the graves underneath were also met to catch others, being traps in waiting. Grass is found in scarce parts because bare dirt and cold stone are far, far more common. But the most common thing is death, or rather being eaten alive by the savage beasts who live here.
The center of the lands holds three large water falls. Two smaller ones on each side and in the middle is a larger one. Behind the falls is where the lead and his queen call their own. The pool that ripples under the glorious waterfalls is calm and clear, filled with small fish swimming about happily. For those who are not awear when first they step into the water expecting a cold rush, the water is oddly warming on the flesh. All the land is filled with chest high grass and more then abundant food and water for all. In the summer time the fields of grass are littered with clusters of wild flowers that give off a perfume that is more then pleasing to the sences.
The eerie sound of whispers penetrate your ear as you wander into the unknown abyss, the icy cold chill of fear has already got your mind playing games on you. You start to hear, see and think unimaginable things. As you wander in further, the walls seem to be closing in around you, the entrance has suddenly been blocked off. It is pitch black. You get engulfed by your own mind and ponder on your wellbeing. Will you get out alive? Not many equines will be good enough nor strong enough to reside in such a place as this. The winding and mind-binding tunnels make it easy to get lost and distraught. The Lead Hellion, Uccidere awaits your arrival among one of the many chambers inside of The Labyrinth. You may think you were already unlucky to have stumbled upon such an unforgiving land such as this, but wait until you meet the master of it all. Now, he is something to worry about. If you're not careful you may as well end up on his plate and be torn apart by the whole harem. Not a nice way to go. Dare you enter? It may be the last light you'll see.
From the fires of hell, to the earth above. To the wind that sings across this land, to the waters rushing through. All is tainted with sin, the Devil rules here with his sly manner. A top the hill in the middle of these flat lands hold the only tree, a long witch willow. Streams and brooks runs through and tall wild grasses grow all over. Towards the far end of the lands it stand like a desert, with burnt remains of plants and even animals. Could this be the hell of earth?
For those who cannot choose between Heaven and Hell, there is Dalae. The lands are flat and dry, with random patches of sweet grass. A single river runs through the middle of the land, coming from nowhere and ending far beyond the lines of the turf. The land is scattered with only few trees. There is no need for shade due to a large fog that remains on the land year round. Those who do not know their way around stumble around until death do them part from earth. Welcome to Dalae, where your life should be enjoyed, but feared for.
No. The black pit is not actually a black pit. The ancestors of this place had made it originally a black pit though. They used to dump the unworthy beings in there. It was their definition of hell. The pit was too large for anyone to climb out of. So they rotted to death in there... and were eventually eaten by the insects that swarmed in there thousands there. Now the pit and the bones have been covered. It is a large swampy area, infested with all kinds of dangerous animals. There are said to be crocodiles in the water. But they are at peace with the horses of the dark waters - For most of the time.
Welcome to Upendie. To venture in, you need to choose which path of love you wish to take. The left will take you deeper into the land, and the right will lead you home to the center of it all. After choosing what path you wish to take, the left leads to a darker part of the land. A raging fire has passed through here, so almost everything is dead. The trees are black and the grass as well. There is a small place for drinking. Now the right path, leads you to the center of the land, which hold the worlds largest waterfall, that falls into the Upendie lake and ventures off into many little streams. Trees and caves give shelter from the night and cold weather. Fresh grass is here. Past the waterfalls, underneath, is a pathway that only you may ride with the king. It leads to his rock, where he may watch his herd carefully. Welcome to the land of love. Upendie.
Amethyst Falls A small part of the ruins, farther back and secluded all by itself. Its densely forested, with a spiderweb of rivers running across the span of terriotory. The leafy foliage is bountiful in the warmer months, but with winter's arrival, pond moss is the only food avaliable. At the heart of the forest, surrounded by a tight cricle of cliffs, is a pentagon of waterfalls, five of them, all around the cliffs. The mist could cool any equine, and there are spots in the sun where one can bathe. The pool the waterfalls create is deep, at least 14 feet or so. The circle is protected in the winter from the harsh winds, and the moss can be used as bedding. There is a small alcove for the foals of the herd, while a closed cave serves for the chambers of slaves, though the coming of one is rare.
Located on the outskirts of Oozora this terra is fortunate enough to have some of the same striking shrubbery and flora. Cherry and bonsai trees litter the land, along with the maple forest that gives this land its name. A small stream makes its way lazily through the green meadows; with water so clean you can see the small pebbles on the bottom. The Light of heart reside here and all are welcome if their intentions are pure.
Entrance to this land without permission shall result in your funeral. Dead or Alive. Raiga is a great fan of funerals, and believes they are a time to smile. Recalling happy memories at funerals is his biggest pastime. The entrance to the land is a large stone archway, that had been the entrance to a graveyard a long time ago. The lands are flat, and old, crumbling gravestones marr the ground and make footing unstable, along with newly dug graves. The lands have a few twisted trees, enough to protect from storms and snow. A gray fog hangs over the land all of the time, and makes it hard to see. Which is unfortunate for a few in the land. Raiga has a very special helper, that few know about, and few will ever. And he's hidden in a very special place, which no one will ever find. Yes, it's very unfortunate for you to have stumbled across this land. Very unfortunate...
One end of the lands is covered in sand and has the climate of a desert. The other side is vast forest lush with green grass year round. To the north is a rocky shore that leads to a sandy beach where there is an inlet for the ocean. To the south is caves that hold secret places. One is a hot spring that has natural sea salts to clean a coat better then any other water these lands have to offer. In the middle is where a large rock formation over looks all that is around. From here the lead can see his whole lands... it is here that meetings are held.
Let's play a game, shall we? Ah, yes - a game well worth your while. You see, whether or not you know the truth within the lie, you stand to claim everything you have ever wanted. Your dreams are revolving around this one, simple task laying before you. Take the plunge and feel some comfort in the fact you are not alone. No, you are never alone in these lands. Eyes watch your every move. Don't trip or stumble because no one save yourself will catch you if you fall. Dark forests surround a secluded field that only a select few are allowed to know about. The cleanest, purest water runs up from a natural spring within the field's proximity. Theses lands a a dark heart's dream. Now, let's get back to that game. 'Tis a game of chance, it is. A game of 50/50, where there's an equal chance of winning to losing. Or, is it losing to winning? You decide. With a toss of a coin and the shimmer of silver, everything you have ever dreamed of flies above your head. What, oh, what might it be that you'll win?
